The double-sided cantilever rack consists of the same stand profile as the single-sided option. However, both sides of the rack are fitted with legs and cantilever arms. This gives you more storage space. Our cantilever racking is also characterised by the following features:

Kardex
Kardex invested around 930,000 euros in a racking system from OHRA for it’s new dispatch warehouse. This large order comprised nine cantilever racks measuring up to 48 metres long and 8.5 metres high, as well as three pallet racks. OHRA planned and assembled the entire system in just nine months. This meant Kardex could quickly start utilising the new warehouse capacity – and thus continue to implement it’s own customer projects quickly and reliably in the future.
Silverlake
Silverlake Automotive Recycling in Hampshire stores up to 2,500 end-of-life vehicles securely and in a space-saving manner in 19 cantilever racks from OHRA. The shelves are over 8 metres high and offer space for five vehicles on top of each other - each weighing up to 2 tonnes. The storage levels can be adjusted without tools thanks to the flexible suspension system. The robust construction made of hot-rolled steel profiles also withstands the demanding conditions in recycling operations. Mayrose Lingen
Building materials retailer Mayrose was able to significantly increase its storage capacity at its new site in Lingen with cantilever and pallet racking from OHRA. By switching from block storage to storage in racks, building materials and timber are stored more gently and internal transport routes are reduced. The system offers 1,800 storage locations in six pallet racks and three cantilever racks. The shelves, which are over 30 metres long, allow a maximum storage height of 7.4 metres. The shelf height, which is rather unusual for the building materials trade, allows high space utilisation. Thanks to the shelving system, Mayrose now has a significantly larger range of products in stock for its customers at all times.
Trigema
TRIGEMA, Germany’s largest manufacturer of sport and leisure clothing, has optimised its production logistic, Converting floor stacking to rack storage increasing production efficiency by 5%. OHRA installed cantilever and pallet racking in the buffer storage area between production and finishing, which enables flexible interim storage of a variety of fabrics. In addition to 60% more storage capacity in the same space, the new racks accelerate storage and retrieval by 50 per cent and simplify the implementation of the FIFO principle.
Auto Pièces
The French car recycling company Auto Pièces is optimizing its storage space with the help of OHRA cantilever racks and increasing the number of stored vehicles from 350 to 750 in a short time. The total capacity is now 1,700 spaces. Thanks to the racks, cars can be stacked on top of each other and still be kept directly accessible. Auto Pièces relies on sustainable recycling management, recycles an average of 98 percent of the weight of a used vehicle and has over 120,000 tested used parts in stock. The new racks make handling easier, prevent damage and thus significantly increase the efficiency of vehicle recycling.
